Redeeming Rewards
The Rewards page is where your XP turns into real things. It's a shop of NFTs, each priced in XP — spend your points, get the NFT sent straight to your wallet.
How redeeming works
- Browse the Rewards page — anyone can look; you connect to redeem.
- Pick a reward you can afford. Each card shows the NFT's art, name, and its XP price.
- Redeem. One transaction burns the XP from your spendable balance and transfers the NFT to your wallet.
The catalog is on-chain, so what you see is exactly what's available. Once a reward is redeemed, it's gone from the shelf.
What it costs you
Redeeming draws down your spendable XP only. Your lifetime XP, level, and leaderboard rank are untouched — you keep your status, you just spend the "currency" side of your points.
If a reward costs more XP than you have, its button is simply disabled until you've earned enough. Nothing is charged, and a redemption either fully succeeds or fully reverts — you never lose XP without getting the NFT.
How the shop is stocked
Every reward is a real NFT held in escrow by the rewards contract before it's listed. Rewards can be any ApeChain collection — bulls, partner projects, and more get added over time. The art and names you see are pulled live from OpenSea.
XP is the reward for playing — it's a bonus, not a promise. Prices are set so rewards stay something you earn over real activity, not a giveaway.
