Hood Packs

Hood Packs is a pack-opening game where the prizes are real tokenized stocks. You rip a pack, the chain rolls a provably-random outcome, and you win APE — or trade that win for a Robinhood stock token (TSLA, NVDA, AAPL and more). The packs are player-funded: the house never fronts a prize or plays against you, and every pack pays something back.

How a pack works

  1. Pick a tier and rip. Choose a tier (Bronze → Diamond), pay its price in APE, and open the pack.
  2. The chain rolls it. A Pyth verifiable-random draw decides your outcome instantly — nothing is pre-determined and there's nothing to reveal later.
  3. Collect your win. Every winning pack lets you take the APE, or take the stock instead (more on that below).

Tiers

Five tiers, each a fixed entry price. A bigger tier means bigger payouts across the board — the odds are identical at every tier.

The outcomes

Every pack rolls one of six outcomes. Five pay a multiple of your pack price; the sixth wins the Jackpot.

Every Pack Pays

There is no zero. The worst roll — a Common — still returns 0.1× your price, so a loss never feels like a total loss. Payouts are always drawn from the shared prize pool and can never exceed what the pool holds, so the game stays solvent by construction.

The Jackpot

A slice of every pack feeds a shared, ever-growing Jackpot. Land the rare Jackpot outcome and you take 90% of the whole pot — the remaining 10% carries forward, so it never empties and immediately starts building again for the next player.

Taking APE, or taking the stock

Every winning pack gives you a choice:

  • Take the APE — you keep 90% of your win, paid instantly. The other 10% is recycled back into the prize pool, keeping every advertised payout backed.
  • Take the stock — skip that 10% cut: your full win goes toward buying a Robinhood stock token (a random ticker from the live lineup), delivered to your wallet on Robinhood Chain shortly after you claim. A small network + conversion cost applies to the cross-chain delivery.

The 10% cut only ever applies when a stock is genuinely available to claim — it's the cost of cashing out in APE instead of taking the prize. When no stock lineup is live, every win pays out in full with no reduction.

Where the money goes

Each pack's price splits three ways: 65% into the prize pool, 30% into the Jackpot, and 5% to the Club. The prize and Jackpot pools are entirely player-funded, so the house never needs to be on the other side of your pack.

That 5% is the Club's only cut — and it goes straight back to the community. The Club puts it toward sweeping Lazy Bulls off the floor, which funds giveaways, rewards, and prizes for holders. Every pack you rip feeds the pools you win from and the rewards that flow back to the Club.

If a pack doesn't resolve

Randomness comes from an external oracle. In the rare case a roll can't complete in time, the pack is refunded — your APE is returned and nothing is taken. Your funds are never stuck.

Every pack earns XP

Winning packs earn XP, the same loyalty currency you build in Fight Club. Holding Lazy Bulls makes it accrue faster.
